OOTD – July

Hey friendship!

I had a fun weekend this July and got to wear some vintage-inspired dresses.  I had a chunky heel themed weekend. In the past I usually stayed away from the style, but they have grown on me this summer and turned into a bit of an obsession.

[S – size down]

One of my favorite vintage online stores is Lindy Bop which is from the UK.  Friday I wore this lemon dress, you can find here. I typically wear S, but I wish I would have sized down and gotten an XS, only because the top half of the dress was not as fitted as I would have liked.  The fabric is light and good quality.  The dress screams summer!

For shoes, I wore taupe Madden Girl sandals with chunky heels.

[XS – size down]

Saturday was another Lindy Bop purchase.  You can find the city skyline dress here. This dress I sized down and got an XS and it fit like a dream.  My favorite part of the dress (besides the fun twirly skirt) were the sleeves, just because they are more unique than the typical off the shoulder trend, but not normal tank top sleeves.

For shoes I wore some Sam Edelman soft violet chunky heels.

[8 UK – true to size]

For Sunday fun day, I ditched the twirly dresses and went for a more 40’s inspired look.  You can find the flamingo dress here.  I got a 8 (UK), which is equivalent to a US S, which was true to size. The material is good quality and comfortable. The belt you tie, allows you to create a more fitted look for the typically baggy-style dress.

For shoes, I wore red Steve Maddens (again with chunky heels).

What’s your favorite store to shop at online?

All the love and regards,
